Even if you are a Big Bang Theory fan who can sing the show’s theme song by heart, you may not know all that is interesting about the pretty ladies of the show.

1. Kaley Cuoco can play a good game of tennis.

Lifetime Hosting One Payment and Host forever!

Tennis is a sport that Kaley has been familiar with since the young age of 3. She was a nationally-ranked amateur tennis player before becoming an actress. Her ex-husband Ryan Sweeting is a professional tennis player.

2. Kaley wasn’t the preferred actress for Big Bang Theory

The show’s original pilot featured Amanda Walsh; however, that particular version didn’t get selected to go on air. Ultimately, the network gave the go-ahead to the show once Cuoco replaced Amanda as Penny.

3. Mayim Bialik is equally brilliant in reel and real-life both.

The on-screen character played by Mayim Bialic is an insanely intelligent person. She is also super bright in real life and got accepted to Harvard and Yale. She, however, turned down the Ivy League School offers and went on to join UCLA.

4. Bialik doesn’t allow any tampering with her hair

The brainy actress has created her hair care products and doesn’t use the brands available in the market.

5. Melissa Rauch was in love with the show even before she came on onboard

Rauch was a show fan even before appearing in Season 3 as Bernadette. However, she tried to act nonchalant on the set. As reported by Variety earlier, Rauch struck a deal with Warner Bros. Television for the series. The deal is worth US$500,000 per episode for a total of 48 episodes.

Kaley Cuoco and Mayim Bialik are two very important pieces in one of our favorite TV shows ever — The Big Bang Theory. As Penny and Amy, respectively, these two characters are polar opposites, but click in their Los Angeles friend group. The two shared the screen for around 200 episodes between 2010 and 2019 when the show wrapped for good, so we can’t help but wonder if the actresses are friends in real life, too. To find out, we did some digging.

The biggest tip that Cuoco and Bialik are truly friends outside of Big Bang Theory is how they handled their salaries. In 2017, the main cast, which included Cuoco and Bialik, was dealing with salary negotiations, per Variety. Bialik and Melissa Rauch were fighting to get their salaries brought up to par with the main five cast members who had been there from the beginning — Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, and Kunal Nayyar. Rauch and Bialik were reportedly making less money than the other five ($200,000 per episode, compared to $1 million), so contracts for the final two seasons were held up.

In an act of friendship and respect, all five original cast members offered up pay cuts to help close the pay gap for Bialik and Rauch. Even if Cuoco and Bialik aren’t best friends for life, we’d say they’re, at the very least, good friends, especially for Cuoco to offer up a reported $100,000 per episode of her pay.

Mayim Bialik called the ‘Big Bang Theory’ cast ‘cohesive’

It’s hard to say if it was always rainbows and butterflies between The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco and Mayim Bialik, though. Rumors floated around from Radar Online in 2018 about catfights on set between Cuoco and Bialik, but Gossip Cop squashed them pretty quickly. Bialik’s rep even told Gossip Cop at the time, “There’s no truth to this story whatsoever.” So it sounds like those rumors were just that — rumors.

The supposed drama was never even reported by other outlets either and the speculation on the “cat fights” disappeared quickly. What was covered, though, was the cast’s bond on set and off. Bialik even told People in 2017, “I’m happy to report that we have a very cohesive cast and we all know that our strength is together.”

And while these two don’t post a ton of pictures together on social media, they definitely still hang out. Bialik shared a photo with Cuoco and her sister in January 2020 on Instagram. With the photo, she wrote, “2020 starting out strong for celebrity sightings – omg it’s @kaleycuoco.” So if nothing else, Bialik and Cuoco are at least friendly enough to grab coffee from time to time.

As with most television shows, the most popular episodes of the legendary CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory are the ones that give some weight to them. Episodes highlighting relationship or career milestones, holiday episodes, and notable guest star appearances typically top the series’ most beloved episodes list.

The third-season episode The Einstein Approximation may lack significant plot twists and character-defining moments, but it’s still an excellent half-hour television. In the episode, The Big Bang Theory Sheldon Jim Parsons is experiencing a manic episode while struggling to solve a mathematical equation.

The climax of The Einstein Approximation is Sheldon’s dogged search for the flaw in his equation. He begins facing away from a whiteboard with his formula written on it, quickly whipping around to steal one-second glances at it.

The episode’s climax results from Sheldon’s most recent attempt to crack the code. According to the episode’s title, Sheldon decides to emulate one of his heroes,

The Big Bang Theory helped Kaley Cuoco get through her divorce, says the sitcom star. With a successful 12 season run, The Big Bang Theory made history as the longest-running multi-camera comedy in its final season. Cuoco played Penny for all 12 seasons of the series, the only female character in the show's original cast, which also included Jim Parsons as Sheldon, Johnny Galecki as Leonard, Simon Helberg as Howard, and Kunal Nayyar as Raj. Penny was introduced as Sheldon and Leonard's new across the hall neighbor, and her bubbly personality contrasted to humorous effect with their more reserved ways.

Though Penny was often underestimated by the men around her, she helped many of them, especially Sheldon, grow and learn to better interact with the 'real world' throughout the course of the show. She also went through plenty of growth, both personal and professional, over the 12 seasons, getting a happy if divisive ending by the finale. Penny often served as a breath of fresh air for audiences tuning in to The Big Bang Theory as the one 'relatable' character amidst all the scientists in the show, and the actor now reveals that the character offered a similar escape to her during a hard time in her life.

People has offered a glimpse of Jessica Radloff's oral history of the show, The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series, which is available now. In the book, Cuoco details a scene that was shot just before she announced her divorce from Ryan Sweeting in 2015. While shooting a scene from the season 9 episode "The 2003 Approximation," she recalls having a ball filming despite the personal turmoil, which offered "a really wonderful escape." See what she had to say about the scene below:

How Kaley Cuoco's Penny Evolved Across Big Bang Theory's Run

Cuoco's description of laughter helping to provide an escape is a nice way of thinking of her over a decade run on the series, which wrapped in 2019. In addition, her heartwarming account of her co-stars helping her out during a hard time mirrors the sweet relationship her character often shared with the show's other protagonists. Though Penny and Sheldon had one of the most charming relationships on the series, she helped all the characters grow in certain ways, learning a lot from them as well as she matured significantly. She also ended up married to Leonard after the couple experienced an on-again, off-again relationship in classic sitcom fashion.

Penny evolved a great deal over the course of the show, being introduced as a struggling waitress and aspiring actor and eventually making her way to a flourishing career. In the very last season, she had some conflict with Leonard due to their conflicting desires concerning starting a family. Though Penny initially didn't want to have children, she ended up pregnant by the end and both were thrilled about the revelation, which many viewers found to be an inconsistent and unsatisfying ending for the character. Despite this turn, Penny is an extremely memorable sitcom character and remains a fan-favorite on The Big Bang Theory.

Kaley Cuoco has admitted to having several plastic surgery operations, which she feels altered her life for the better. The Big Bang Theory star says getting her b**bs done was the ‘best thing’ she ever did, and revealed she had her nose altered ‘years ago’ too.

Like plastic surgery fan Iggy Azalea, who earlier this year called for the ‘taboo’ surrounding cosmetic procedures to be smashed, Kaley could not be happier about her work. Talking to the December issue of Women’s Health, the 30-year-old said: ‘Years ago, I had my nose done. Recently, I had a filler in a line in my neck since I was 12. ‘And my b**bs — best thing I ever did.

She said, ‘As much as you want to love your inner self… I’m sorry, you also want to look good. ‘I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.’ For the magazine shoot, Kaley also showed off her toned midriff, presumably to demonstrate how proud she is of the appearance of her body.

In 2015, Kylie Jenner admitted to having lip fillers, writing on her website: ‘As of now, I only have lip fillers. ‘As I’ve said before, it has always been a huge insecurity of mine, and I wanted to make a change.’

Other stars who’ve admitted to procedures include Sharon Osbourne, who said she had her vagina ‘tightened’, Cameron Diaz, who says breaking her nose prompted her to go under the knife, and Lisa Kudrow, who had a nose job in high school.
