Jennifer Aniston is something of a pioneer in the world of celebrity brand deals. While other A-listers were lending their faces to shill everything from booze to fast-food franchises, Aniston was taking C-suite positions in exchange for her influential endorsement. 

“My joints, my nails, my hair, my skin everything just started to improve,” says the 52-year-old, noting that as we get older collagen production starts to decline.

That's really important to me,” says the actor, who recently signed on as the Chief Creative Officer of Vital Proteins. She is actively sipping on a smoothie boosted with the chocolate flavored collagen peptide powder as we Zoom from her home in Los Angeles.

“I don’t want to be the face of something if it's not a part of my daily routine.  “It’s delicious!” she insists. Aniston was introduced to the brand seven years ago.

When her functional medicine doctor suggested she add collagen to her supplement regimen and she quickly started seeing results.
