The loved-up pair were seen in New York at Italian restaurant Babbo and they looked pleased after their five-hour meal.

As they emerged holding hands, Cake star Jennifer - who was snubbed by the Oscars - also gave onlookers a glance at her huge engagement ring, proudly showing it off.

The star was clearly enjoyed a bit of time to relax, and went for a casual look for the romantic night.

Keeping it simple with black skinny jeans and knee-high boots, she also wore a striped top under a cropped black blazer.

Her man didn't deviate from the theme too much, choosing a pair of matching black jeans and black jacket, complemented by a simple sweater.

The pair were both all smiles as they left the restaurant, clearly enjoying their evening together.
